1. Best-in-class Leisure Experience

Sentosa has been divided into different zones, to cater to the diverse needs of our guests:

a. Imbiah Lookout – Nature & Heritage Discovery

The Imbiah Lookout and Merlion area currently offers an eclectic mix of both active as well as passive nature and heritage-based experiences. These range from the adrenaline pumping MegaZip and Skyline Luge ride set against the natural terrain of Imbiah, to the heritage and culturally-rich Images of Singapore and educational Sentosa Nature Discovery. Easily accessible by the Sentosa Express and the Singapore Cable Car Sky Network, the hub also offers various retail and food and beverage (F&B) options.

b. Siloso Beach – Hip, Cool and Energetic

Siloso beach is a novel sporting venue with a wide range of thrilling and adventurous recreational activities for the young and energetic.  As one of the hippest beaches in Singapore, Siloso’s lively stretch of trendy beach bars such as Coastes, is the place for those seeking a cool hang-out with friends. The highlights of this beach area include high-adrenaline experiential attractions like the iFly Singapore, Wave House Sentosa, water-based activities such as JetLev offered by Ola Beach Club, and the upcoming AJ Hackett Sentosa. Siloso Beach is also home to an array of exciting events throughout the year – be it live jazz performances by the beach, the ZoukOut Dance Festival or Sentosa’s annual year-end countdown Siloso Beach Party.

c. Palawan Beach – Family Fun

A happy family is one that plays and bonds together. Set against a tropical beach landscape, Sentosa’s Palawan beach is dedicated to family-centric activities. The beach is home to Singapore’s first kids club by the beach – Port of Lost Wonder, as well as Palawan Kidz City.  The City is home to KidZania Singapore – a world-renowned children role-play attraction, as well as MOSH! which is Singapore’s first digital interactive edutainment centre. With a host of family-friendly amenities and activities that cater to every member of the family, Palawan Beach offers families fun and enriching learning experiences through play.

d. Tanjong Beach – Chill Out and Wind Down

The tranquility and solitude on Tanjong Beach is a favourite with guests who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This tranquil stretch of recreational space currently houses the Tanjong Beach Club where guests can enjoy getting together for a relaxing night out. The beach landscape is preserved to offer a perfect setting for beach lovers to chill amid serene natural surroundings.

e. Sentosa Cove – Waterfront Lifestyle at its Finest

Situated on the eastern end of Sentosa Island is Sentosa Cove, an exclusive residential enclave with some 2000 homes.  With the azure sea and lapping waves at its doorstep, Sentosa Cove’s residents enjoy mooring their private yachts at their very own backyards, while enjoying easy access to over 200 leisure and lifestyle offerings on the island, earning its name as the world’s most desirable address.

Complementing these luxury residences is the vibrant Sentosa Cove Village comprising the ONE°15 Marina Club which offers town club facilities alongside world-class marina facilities including 204 wet berths; Singapore’s first premium marina hotel, W Hotel-Sentosa Cove; as well as the Quayside Isle which offers more than 20 exciting commercial concepts with a good selection of specially-curated new-to-market restaurants, dining concepts from established groups, and specialty retail stores.

2. Improved mobility and connectivity

The transport system on the island is continuously upgraded to cater to the growing visitorship and to provide a more comfortable travelling experience for guests.

A new intra-island cable car line opened in July 2015, linking Merlion Plaza and Siloso Point, located at the western part of Sentosa. The Sentosa Line of the Singapore Cable Car Sky Network not only provide s scenic view over Siloso Beach and Mount Imbiah, it also enhances accessibility for visitors within the island.

As Singapore progresses towards a ‘car-lite’ society, Sentosa has also embarked on trials for on-road cycling tracks, as well as bike-share programmes. SDC also has in place future plans to broaden the transport network to include the introduction of self-driving on-demand point-to-point shuttle services.
