• APSN Tanglin School

The ASPN (Association for Persons with Special Needs) Tanglin School is SDC’s partner charity. The school provides secondary-level education to students aged 13 to 16 years with mild intellectual disabilities. We are tapping on our organisational and people resources to help the school fulfill its mission. For instance, our staff will be teaching the students relevant skills in gardening and retail, as well as supporting the school in various events.

• Other community contributions

Other than partnering with the Tanglin School, SDC contributes to other community organisations, events and causes. This includes selling souvenirs made by Volunteer Welfare Organisations at our retail outlets and being the venue sponsor for the Family Day Out Carnival on 29 May 2010, which was the launch event for the National Family Celebrations 2010.
