SINGAPORE, 28 April 2026 – Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) in partnership with Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) has unveiled Singapore's most scenic posting box at Palawan Beach, creating a meaningful way for guests to connect with loved ones worldwide through the timeless art of letter writing.
Through curated postcard kits, both international and local guests can send personalised messages from one of Singapore's most picturesque locations, transforming a simple moment into a lasting memory that travels from Sentosa to anywhere in the world.
The new postal service is strategically positioned at a rest stop overlooking the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. Over the years, the Southernmost Point has established itself as a beloved destination and recognisable landmark where visitors from around the world come to capture memorable moments. The iconic location represents the spirit of being at one of Asia's accessible southern frontiers and offers guests a unique vantage point to experience Sentosa.
Michael Ma, Assistant Chief Executive (Business & Digital Technology Group), Sentosa Development Corporation, said, "This new initiative represents more than just a posting box. It is about creating meaningful connections that extend far beyond our shores. There is something magical about handwriting a message with this scenic backdrop. When guests send these postcards from Sentosa, they are not just sharing a moment, they are taking the time to reflect on their Sentosa experience and share that joy with families and friends across the globe. This transforms a tourist moment into a personal connection.”
A new island ritual
With the new postal service, SDC invites guests to join in creating a new island ritual that encourages guests to slow down, savour the views, reflect on their experience, and create a tangible keepsake as a reminder of their visit to the island.
Guests can purchase exclusively curated postcard kits, including postcard designs on limited print runs, from a vending machine before crossing the iconic suspension bridge to explore the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. The post cards are also available via Sentosa website, and Sentosa Guest Services Counters across the island.
At this scenic location, guests can mark their visit with an exclusive embossed impression available only at this site. They can then take time to pen heartfelt messages with panoramic views of the South China Sea as their backdrop. The experience concludes at Singapore's most scenic posting box, where guests can send their messages to loved ones anywhere in the world from Sentosa.
A collaboration for heartfelt connections
"At SingPost, every delivery carries more than its contents — it carries a connection between people. We are proud to bring our postal network to one of Singapore's most beloved destinations, and to play a part in how visitors choose to remember their time here. We hope every postcard posted at Palawan Beach on Sentosa finds its way to someone who treasures it," said Goh Chee Hiong, Vice President of Operations, Singapore Post Limited.
Singapore's most scenic posting box is now operational at Palawan Beach, Sentosa, offering guests a unique way to share their Singapore memories with friends and family worldwide.
Guests are encouraged to share their postal ritual on social media using #SentosaPostcard with the scenic backdrop providing countless photo-worthy moments from the suspension bridge crossing to the final posting moment.
